Picturesque location near the oldest pubs in West Wycombe. Extremely comfy beds in a newly decorated, good-sized room. - Fairly friendly staff and great amenities. - Lots of outstanding food offerings. - Conveniently located minutes away from St Paul's Church and a local supermarket.

The staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome. Nothing was to much trouble. Top breakfast.

Driving out onto the main road, scary during rush hour, Hotel was spot on.

The staff were excellent and were very welcoming. The pub/hotel its self is very charming and the room we had was very 1700s and lovely. Very clean. The drinks were cheap (well cheaper than London) and the food was very good, and good value for money. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the HellFire Caves and West Wycombe park.

A fantastic location close to London, a nearby café in Stokenchurch, and excellent service, along with a delicious breakfast served with a variety of meals.

The old oak beams in the rooms and the four-poster bed really added character.

The room rates were fair, and they even had a fancy four-poster bed! 🛏️ Plus, there's a cool bar onsite. the breakfast was top-notch!

the George & Dragon is a beautiful,four hundred year old hotel that was a coach house in years gone by. when you drive through the archway you go back in time. It is not the royal or the ritz,but it is a lovely ,qwirky, comfortable,friendly and cosy place to stay. Some of the floors & walls slope which adds to the quaintness of it. Then there is the food. what an eye opener, it could have been in any top hotel. the beef & ale pie was great, but the Ribeye steak was fantastic, it just melted in your mouth. The price of the stay for 2 days with food & drink was very good in my opinion. The staff were very attentive & friendly, we had a great laugh & a lovely relaxing time. We will deffinately go back there at some time very soon.

Our room was huge, with 2 double beds, very spacious. Full of old world charm as the pub dated back a few hundred years. Staff were very friendly, food was very good.

The bathroom was very large & contained a bath but no shower unit. There was a shower pipe attached to the bath taps but no hook on the wall, so you had to hold it over yourself making hair-washing impossible with one hand! Plus there was no shower curtain so floor got very wet. I would prefer a proper shower area.

Loved the deluxe twin room with a four poster bed and how it was arranged.

This place is conveniently located near the Dashwood Mausoleum in a lovely area, offering a pleasant restaurant and an authentic bar.
